New Technology in Mice     Guest: Erik Charlton
Logitech designs, manufactures and markets personal peripherals that enable people to effectively work, play, and communicate in the digital world. Logitech's products (http://www.logitech.com) combine essential core technologies, continuing innovation, award-winning industrial design and excellent price performance.

Erik Charlton, senior global product marketing manager at Logitech discusses the MX1000 Laser Cordless Mouse, with technology developed in collaboration with Agilent Technologies Inc. The MX1000 has a 5.8 megapixel sensor and is up to 20 times more responsive and accurate than optical mice. The mouse uses a low-intensity laser, which is invisible to the human eye, to illuminate the surface underneath the mouse which is reflected in the mouse movement on the screen resulting in more accurate motion on a variety of different surfaces.
